Compensation that equates to survivability means the female is less likely to survive. You need money to eat etc... I won't debate it further some thing I won't talk about you know why..


people don't think about erasure, they only think about themselves and honestly they really only see within the scope of their family unit. To them they will only care about their daughter being a son and not the affect it will have. Essetially they will all cry "not me" and be left with no one who is "it" and then have no game to play.

Yes, but that assumes first that all people want sons over daughters in a particular society, second that they don't care for their daughters, third that they can afford this, fourth that they're all absolutely blind to the reality around them, fifth that market forces will make the infrastructure reliable and technology prevalent to permit the conversion of all youths and sixth that no religious or political organization will intervene with the use of force.

aside of the initial topic (gender change), i am totally with smoth there. they are already proving it in reality, they do not care for the society of tomorow, but about themselfs, now. i mean.. they do stuff like breaking the legs of their daughters, then stretching and when healed, breakign again... just to get them longer legs -> better looking -> better job -> more money. and that is institutionalized. how can you doubt they would generally be selfless for the good of the society of tomorow.

where i am not with smoth:
there are like.. half a billion indian men, and half of the four or so pop-stars seen over here are good looking... i mean... you want to say there are no 2 good looking chinese men on the planet?

There are far more men in china than women, in some places women are traded as a commodity, its a problem thats forced government action, and is already showing in countries in asia where no laws on child bearing exist.

Not every country has the same cultures and values as western europe/US and the various other countries that conform.
