Nanoframes decay even while they are being reclaimed, I consider this a bug as they should logically not decay while being nanolathed (being built or reclaimed).

If they hadn't decayed, you would have to spend more time reclaiming instead of receiving more metal without extra effort.

Doesn't decay give you back only a fraction of the metal?

You get back the entire metal.
As if you reclaimed the entire unit.
Made experiment with armca building 50% of a radar tower. (Dont forget to selfd com to get less m income).

Yeah, the unit's hp does not matter, you get all M anyway. If a unit is about to die, reclaiming it can be a good deal - you avoid the explosion too.
