new 4.1 version crashes Vista every single time

I try to start it, it says there is an upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1 which I let it download. I then restart, and it crashes on me. Every time I start it, it crashes right away.

Springlobby has stopped working, is what the Windows pop up thing says.

I'm using Vista. Anyone else having problems?

I was playing it just yesterday without any problems, so its just this newest version which does this. I guess I'll have to reinstall it at the previous version to get it working again. Just thought I'd report the problem.

You mean .40 to .41?

you can download the .40 release here: http://springlobby.info/windows/springl ... -win32.zip

and keep that until the SpringLobby folks get the problem fixed. If you want to help them fix the problem faster, ask if you can help test new versions to help isolate the problem.

- download http://www.springlobby.info/windows/dll ... .4-dlls.7z and http://springlobby.info/temp/builds/kos ... master.zip
- extract both archives to new directory somewhere outside your spring installation
- start the just extracted springlobby.exe
- setup unitsync path in options->spring, press apply
- restart

I have the same problem.

I use the autoupdate the first time, then I manually update the binaries.
This mornig I update to 0.42 but it's still crashing.

please try the following:
- download http://www.springlobby.info/windows/dll ... .4-dlls.7z and http://springlobby.info/temp/builds/kos ... master.zip
- extract both archives to new directory somewhere outside your spring installation
- start the just extracted springlobby.exe
- setup unitsync path in options->spring, press apply
- restart

I've tried that.
- I extracted the archives on a external path.
- I went to Options > Spring. The paths refers to the directory where I have extracted the files.
- I changed unitsync path to C:\Program Files\Spring\unitsync.dll

I get a error message when I click Apply.
