Re: Spring Lobbyserver
just tried, and if you opened the jar directly by dbl click or open when download finished, the server is running in background, if you want to see the logs etc, you will have to kill the javaw.exe process (ctrl shift esc then process then kill javaw.exe) is there is no java*.exe then skip this step
then CTRL + R, type "cmd" and Ok
then type : "java -jar "
then drag n drop the TASServer.jar in the cmd window, it should add the file path : java -jar "c:\where the jar is\TASServer.jar", then you can push ENTER, and you should see the server msgs

Re: Spring Lobbyserver
No in lan mode you don't have to, about the battle thing, could you try on tiz.ath.cx:8200 ?
Also, if you are using tasclient be sure to disable battle bans if possible or use springlobby, i'll never implement a retarded patch like the one done on main server to implement battle bans

Re: Spring Lobbyserver
uberserver might work better out of the box. it's regularly tested on windows.

Re: Spring Lobbyserver
The problem is tasclient using the epic retarted patch about battle bans, and failing if not supported, as i said a lot of times there's the need of a command sent by the server that tells to the client what flags are supportedaegis wrote:uberserver might work better out of the box. it's regularly tested on windows.
