Aries
Granite Pawn - basic attack construct.

Been working on reducing my polygon count: this little fella' is just under 500 triangles, which is good since there's little to be a lot of them on screen
Needed to add more fabric this time since there isn't a tail/hair for team colour. Horns and hooves may also been TK, and he'll have armour up to chest level.

What exactly does upspring need to do aside from import 3d data, render a model with defined pieces, attach names and locations to that piece, define a groundplate, and export to s30 file?

So thats it?

Spec:
  • Import geometry
  • Assign textures
  • Render geometry
  • Assign pieces a position rotation and name
  • Define/calculate groundplate size
  • Export s3o
  • Animate
  • Export spring lua animation script
Anything missing?

s30 models don't have a groundplate. They do however need a radius and height.

Resizing without breaking edge hardness would be awesome

This is incorrect. The edge hardness is not messed up. It is the normals that get distorted.

I stand corrected. My point still stands though, resizing should not break anything, ever.

@hamesate: add the railings around the decks, it's one of the little things that really makes a difference. Other than that, looks like it's ready to skin, gj :-)

They look much nicer. I want to see them with a realistic/grunge texture. :P
