He neglected to include entire threads.

For example, the following thread makes no appearance in peets dump:

There are 22 threads in the icarus forum, there are 18 in peets dump, of which various newer posts are missing

Eh, the latter was posted after I dumped it. And I guess I just missed the first one....I don't see how missing it vilifies you though.

Okay, missing threads but it doesn't appear to be editing, just missing a couple non-crucial ones. And as far as newer posts, the forum had been dead for three weeks until Peet made the dump, which inspired Neddie to go on a posting spree.

Regardless, it was a real dick move and personally I think an offense such as this deserves a tempban from spring altogether. I fail to see how maliciously attacking a single spring project is different from attacking spring itself.

Moreover, he should be tempbanned simply because he's an asshole. It'd do him some good to get away from your computer and do things that normal human beings do. Don't let the door hit you on your way out, peet.

I don't ban people from the server for griefing in a single game.
why?
it's not under my jurisdiction. it's up to the host to handle behavior inside their game. I *do* warn/ban for battle ban evasion, joinspam, or (valid complaints about) behavior crossing over to several hosts, because it has escalated to a lobby problem.

I don't ban people for their behavior outside of my spring jurisdiction. AF's forum is definitely not in my jurisdiction, and if it was... peet would still not be banned here, as this forum is unrelated.


in that light, there will be no more rabble-rousing about banning peet. if anyone has any concerns or valid complaints within our jurisdiction, they will pm me or the forum moderators group directly.
