Massive Assault pack on Steam

Take a look at their site and random pictures. Looks like a game engine I've seen before somewhere, hint hint. The claim is turn based hexagonal strategy game.

I don't think they're doing anything illegal, it's just amazing what kind of reviews they generated using that engine.

Massive Assault's graphics engine is the single most impressive I have ever witnessed in its genre.

It's amazing though that its screenshot could be right from a Spring game. I mean look at it - maps suffer from the same problems of stretched cliff textures, there are some more or less rare 3d trees, ghosted buildings, basic weapon effects and a pretty decent water...

lol? i played the demo years ago.
didnt know it was turnbased so i was disapointed because at that time i excepted some c&c clone or whatever.

maybe it was based on the same opengl tutorial
