unbind menu from ESC key

Post by ginekolog »

I use Esc often to deselect units. If i have nothing selected it popus menu and if i misclick Save or Resign i fail.. how can this be fixed?

Maybe F10 for menu or let it be defined in uikey.txt .

Anyone?

I see no issue with this if default remains unchanged.

Thanx Tobi, this works. I tried with "quit" and "quitwarn" before as i found em in uikeys, they dont work any more.

Now i use this in uikeys and works perfectly:

unbind esc quitmenu
bind Shift+Esc quitmenu

@Forb, why giving wrong and useless answer?

You were requesting that it be changed in the engine, in which case the answer is "No" (Because of obvious reasons... loluikeys?).

I thought you knew how to change it in uikeys.txt

The whole topic didn't make sense cause if you didn't like it you can change it, but now I see that you weren't aware that it could be edited in uikeys, knowing that now, the topic actually makes sense.
