There's a handful I'd take over Metal Slug. Virtual On would do it.
You going to the mental asylum, mister!
EDIT: Checked it from youtube.. looks like it could be fun but i'm not that into gundam style giant mecha godzilla fighters so you are still going to the asylum.
Well, I don't know if you guys were talking about me or the other guy but I do have metal slug 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and X. Virtual on is great, there is a dreamcast version that can be run on an emulator though I have never tried it. I have this old playstation emulator called bleem! too which really enhances the games well. It's great for things like tekken though there is an emulator just for those types of 3d acade games that has better performance in that area then mame or so I have read. Once again never tried it. Yeah, if I had that dudes machine I would gut it and convert it to a PC though having the original jama type hardware is kool for preservation purposes although it is bound to fail sooner or later. I would probably just put it in a static bag and save it. There is another game called (I think) sub hunt or something but it is based on the metal slug engine just it's a submarine side scroller. Oh an mortal combat 4 was freakin great for a 3d fighter.
