Alt+tab out of spring without activating all compiz effects

Post by Wartender »

so yeah, you guys have no idea how retarded i feel asking this but... is there any way to do the equivalent of alt-tabbing out of spring on linux?
none of my compiz shortcuts work (e.g. alt+tab, super+tab) because they don't work when something is fullscreen.

it would be reeeeeally helpful

alt+tab works fine in linux, just run spring in windowed mode with fullscreen mode set in the window manager

not an option, cause then all my other shortcuts would work (a.k.a. scale when i move my mouse bottom left, expo when i move it bottom right)

so i guess there's no way to only have a shortcut to alt+tab out huh... shoot...

Solution:

Code: Select all

/grapinput
You could also bind it to some key.

Rerun to make desktop short cuts work again.

I am running spring in windowed mode on linux so alt-tabbing works great. I use xfce and no composition.
It seems you cant do this because you have some weird functionality defined when you move mouse to corners of your screen, do you really need stuff like that ?
