Bomber sanked under ground

In a game I've played against 11 KAIK towards the end of the game a bomber disappeared under the ground and the only way to destroy it was either to reclaim or to lunch a nuclear missile over it's position. See replay for details

a small tip: the core mininukes are very effective against KAIK, as KAIK always makes its units swarm together.
No idea how that bomber managed to sink down, though...

Edit: it was going up from the air lab, which was right besides that hill.. Perhaps some buggy aircraftp plant scripts caused this to happen?
