Request Comet Catcher Reduc (12*16) like for 6vs6 8vs8
I made the best games on Comet Catcher Redux (CCR). because there is so much metal everybody always fight for mexes and dont teck. Plus the fact there is no hill at start position make them open map oriented to teamplay and attack rather than defence.
However this map cannot be played more than 4vs4 or 3vs3 (execpt maybe east vs west.
What I would like is a map like CCR but for more poeple.
The closest map I know is Xanterra (16*16) but the south part and the middle part are not opened enough and it implies huge porc at center. Moreover, the metal desity per square meter is still i bit lower than CCR but one of the best for such a large map
Some poeple told me Moon quarter (20*20) remake is like CCR : I desagree; it is far to big and there is definitly not enough metal on it.
what I would like is a map like CCR but for more poeple. 16*16 or 16*18 or 16*20 or 16*24. Can you tell me if somthing like that already exit ? if not it will be great to have one... :O

The large craters appear on the terrain, the smaller ones are barely on it, they are mainly cosmetic additions.

Suggestion if you make V2.
Can you make the map look a bit less random?
I mean on big maps its hard to find yourself sometimes.
On comet for example you have very distinct 4 craters that help you understand quickly what your location is.
Maybe you can arrange the craters in some more memorable way for ease of play?
Or maybe make just a few very easily distinguishable areas?

There are distinguishable areas, the map is mirrored and quickly put together.

Nice map. The fact that the vehicule cannot go in most of the crateria make the map more suitable for Kbot than CCR. However I think it will also make it a bit porcier since the wide size is 18 (too big for scout rush imo) and not 16. The metal is also a bit lower than CCR (a 3 mex start for exemple takes about twice the time it takes in CCR since most of the mexes are far away from each other) with will definitly make more T2 porc.
It is a nice map I will probably play (kbot) but it is not realy what I asked. Ofc I dont expect poeple to do (exactly) what I asked. But is it possible to simply use the current CCR and translate one part to make a double one (not mirrored):

A mirrored will make the map unbalance becasue of the crateria.

Bigger map makes scout rush unviable how? Yes it might make for faster cons builds, but that doesnt mean you didnt need to scout and attack enemy asap every game... 3 mex start is risky anyway, cause as you said it takes longer walking. And there definitely wont be t2 in most games no matter what size of teams, at least starting mexes shouldnt affect that at all...
