My texture turned red

Post by m00nthel00n »

Okay i need some help. I've got this problem, wherein once i've finished and compiled my map, spring seemingly disregards my texture map and everything appears red.

Can anyone shed some light on what could be causing this?

Do NOT rename the mapconv outputted SMF or SMT files. Also, dont have spaces in the -o name.

Actually, smf and smd can be renamed, as long as the two match, but the smt cannot be renamed or you will experience the non-texture issue.

Nice. By the way is there any chance this hardcoded .smt reference could be removed, so we actually could rename? I'll go make a thread about it.
