shadows error need help please!!

I have this error

Error at position 69 near "

TEMP temp;
TEMP shadow,tempC" when loading fragment program file
groundFPshadow.fp


i have already made the value for shadows as -1 and 0xFFFFFFFF but i still have the same error after i start the game

i have a windows vista hp dv2000

disable shadows in springsettings.
Easy as that :)

EDIT: try setting shadows to 0...

shadows ahve t obe set to -1 to be disabled, with 0, they are still on (low quality settings or something). also fell into that once.

what's preventing us from gracefully degrading when something like shadows throws an error?

How, exactly, do you change the shadows to -1? I didn't see an option for it in SpringSettings.

there is a spring config file in C:\Users\Appdata\[Roaming or Local... dont know which one to choose ]\Spring (on vista)
There you can find the shadows, and put it to -1
Or ingame, use the command "/shadows -1"
