Problem Starting Spring

Post by Ebin »

Alright, so I have a Intel 945/950GMA chipset. I suspect that might already be the problem. But considering I'm not the expert... So I downloaded spring and then the Gundam RTS mod along with the Road to Rome map v3. So I can't make heads or tails of what the log says:

Code: Select all

LogOutput initialized.

or the SPRING_LOG_SUBSYSTEMS environment variable (both comma separated).

Any suggestions? I'm still thinking it's due to a lack of HW TnL.

Alright so I guess more information might be helpful. My computer is a DV6120US with a T2250 dual core, Intel 945/950GMA chipset with 1gb or RAM. I am running modified drivers to increase performance on most games, and I am also using the GMA booster for overclocking.

The crash happens no matter what mod I have installed and I have tried a variety of settings.

The infolog says you either need to upgrade your drivers or get a real card.

Okay, so it's the Modded drivers then. Thanks!... Too bad you can't upgrade the GPU in a laptop though, or I would have done that a while back.
