New texture for an old ta map

Green Hills
I used the heightmap from lava and two hills, and made a new texture in an attempt to change the feel of the map,, I hope :shock:
Screens below.
Metal is fairly low and the river can be crossed, I terrain typed the river to give hovers an advantage whilst crossing and voided the mesa slopes.

Could Hovers cros laval before? I think that they really should, as they would be high enough over the lava to avoid permenent damage. Or maby thats just acid pits?

They would be able to cross lava but in doing so the heat of the lava would make the hovercrafts maneourvrability change, aswell as if the skirt touched the lava it'd burn away and reduce control even more considering the skirt has to be lifted off the ground to allow it to go over lava.

And any lava that's flowing fast enough to behave like a river in there would undoubtedly carry the hovercraft with it and burn the hvoercraft as it spat small burnign embers....

I was thikning it would slowly damage them due to spurts of fire, general heat and random potshots from the fire sprites. Just kidding about the last one. No i'm not. Yes i am.
