Yes. So sorry, I didn't even say that. And I love the little police car! I'll do a few minor things, and then make a normalmap for it!

The problem is that the texture looks like a paper cutout, like you painted the detail lines in black and then flood-filled each area in a different shade of green. The material should have a more or less uniform color (with camo patterns applied without much regard for the physical details, they're usually painted on the assembled vehicle and fairly randomly) with brightness variations used to form the shapes of the details (generally imagine a light source shining upon your structure and the more directly the surface is pointed at the light source the more light it receives).

Oh and don't use MS Paint.

I'll look up some tutorials on preshading. Thanks guys. :-)

Side note.. is there a line tool in GIMP?

Edit:

I can't take it .. I just don't know how to preshade the tank. I did my best, but I think I'm going to leave it like this. I'll have to start learning with simpler objects. :(

At least I'm starting to use space more efficiently right?

Two new attempts on game sountrack-ish music. The first one is pretty short, just a looped chord with a bit of fiddling around; something with no suspense at all, which sounds a bit dreamy. The second one is my attempt on something heavy, industrial-ish, but without the use of distorted guitar (the one who can guess which band(s) that medley is inspired by gets a cookie!). Played around with a bunch of effects and some drum samples :)

Smooth Attempt

Heavy Attempt

EDIT: @hamsate The UV map looks pretty damn efficient if you ask me :) To be honest, I can't shade stuff myself either, but there's a thread on the forums with a Photoshop speed run on YT (most stuff can also be used in GIMP, obviously, as you just have to use multiple layers, shadowing filter, resizing, blah, blah, blah), a few examples by the guys here and a spicy flamewar afterwards, although the latter is absolutely of no importance.

EDIT2: Corrected first link

EDIT3: FYI, it sounds horrible because the bass guitar is recorded directly rather than with a decent microphone.

That first texture reminds me of TRON for some reason...
Just needs a neon glow :D

Holding down Shift with pencil or paintbrush tool draws a line from last clicked point to cursor position. I generally do:
-Click on start point
-Ctrl+Z
-Hold down Shift and click on end point

Mind taking screenshots without OpenGL spec./shading?
(as in set specular to 0 and ambient to 1 in the material properties)

Woah, nice. Lots of improvement. Lots of wasted poies, though, too. 10 sided cylinders are enough.

These certainly deserve a real texture. Please, don't to a rush job on them. :P

Very nice modeling!

However... um... that medium tank... the polycount's not really appropriate, unless you're building a FPS or something, and there are far too many details that will never get seen, like the several hundred triangles you're spending on the inside of the tracks. I hate to put it this way, but you've built something that's a bit on the over-detailed side there.

You could still use it as a high-res model for normal/AO map bakes.
