While we are working on reforming and streamlining the moderation system, the moderation team is also considering new members at this point. We have a number of undermoderated time zones, so people who can cover from GMT +2 (Eastern Europe/Central-Eastern Africa) to GMT +8 (Coastal/Islandic Asia) and from GMT -4 (Eastern South America) to GMT -1 (Western Africa) are preferable.
To that effect, I welcome any and all nominations through Private Message, to me, on these forums. I would prefer to see them in this format...

Explanation Of Nomination, Reasons For Consideration, Character Analysis
Do not nominate yourself, please. Fluency in English is necessary; we are presently working toward fluid communication within the team. I will personally read every nomination, though I probably will not respond to them directly. I will then forward the promising candidates to the rest of the team and we will take further action together.
Thank you for you help in advance.

Re: Moderator Nominations
It only takes a short period of time to respond to this, please, take a few minutes out of your surfing and respond.
I have recieved some "Denominations" where people have told me who should not become or remain moderators. I accept these as well, though I will try to protect the identities of the senders when I pass the information along.

Re: Moderator Nominations
This is an opportunity to participate which a number of people have requested, however few have participated thus far, indicating that perhaps the pressure for some more consideration of the wider community in major moderation decisions was perhaps intended in some other spirit.
There are roughly a dozen suggestions thus far, biased toward North America and Great Britain. I welcome more input.

Re: Moderator Nominations
I have tentatively selected six probationary moderators who I will offer the position when possible. There are another ten still under discussion. If you have any further nominations, please make them.
