it's not tasclient trademark it's the modoptions that define the max metal at start for each mod

Once again, Trademark wants to play his really, really strange version of BA, but _without_ having to change the name of the mod in the lobby so he can keep getting BA players.

And once again, the answer is the same: make a mutator.

it kinda is, the bars dont get higher than 10k... and it would also be stupid to add both, modoption metal and the default metal bars...

i want to play a game where i have 100k metal at start, and none of the units could produce metal (should somehow lua it to disable from all units, because every builder makes like 0.1metal or something)

also i would disable corpses, so it wont become just waiting which side will attack first and who can reclaim the corpses... (i tried this kind of gameplay once, and it was just about reclaiming...)

Its not really so strange version, just no metal generators at all. Still same gameplay...

I know Ill get hailed for this, but I kinda like speed maps. Especially buzz/vulcan war, that one is a very well thought out minigame.

How many games have you developed again? As it happens, me, Argh, Forboding (iirc), and Gota to name a few are all very concerned about this issue. Are you seeing a pattern with the names? Keep trying now, I'm sure you'll get it. Hint, it has to do with my first question.

I haven't actually read that thread enough to say who else is concerned with the (very real and current) cheating situation, but no person that makes a game, makes it with the idea of someone hijacking the gameplay and ruining it for everyone.

It's not "drama", and it's not a matter of me not wanting to have my fun ruined by cheaters. The reality is, I don't spend nearly as much time playing as I do modding. My concern is for the people who WILL be playing the game, people that might include you. So get a clue and don't be a smartass when I'm trying, perhaps in vain, to raise an alarm over a situation that could potentially ruin the fun for everyone, yourself included.
