Is it only me, or are a good part of the memes recently, that the newfags cheer to, related to moviez & games that are not up& around for long? How much do you think would it cost to make Spring a meme on 4Chan?

Re: 4Chan & Viral Marketing
I stopped browsing /b/ it became unfunny and is filled with mindless me-too-isms. It is no longer the den of hatred it used to be but a place for wannabe geeks to feel accepted, a place where every little poser internet tough guy can get together and have a false sense of community.
Here is a thread from when /b/ started dieing.

It is that whole self image of we are the edgy counter-culture that pulled in every poser retard.
Re: 4Chan & Viral Marketing
You mean it became less sidestream...
The hatred is still there it was just diluted as more people joined.
I really dont know how you can be much more hateful than /b/...Maybe a bit..
The post you pasted from /b/.You consider that to be whats right or that shitty factor that was added to /b/?

I wonder why the occupants of /b/ failed at trolling the epic fail noobs that supposedly ruined /b/
Or even worse, they were actually pwned by this and are now complaining like pansies instead of skull fucking them out

This. Doesn't pissing and moaning about the whiny little n00bs violate everything that /b/ stands for?AF wrote:I wonder why the occupants of /b/ failed at trolling the epic fail noobs that supposedly ruined /b/

Re: 4Chan & Viral Marketing
Not really you fail to understand it entirely af. There is no way the people of 4chan's /b/ could do anything about an influx of wanna be cool people. IRL when these little losers try to join your social group you either drive them out or simple beat up on them till they get the hint. The internet is not that way, and neither was/is 4chan.
The idiots going on about how anonymous is legion and unbeatable are the posers. I enjoyed the raids when they first started, hell that September 11th one was the last and greatest. Still, the fact that afterward people stuck around in habbo "raiding" those idiots were effectively joining the community. What they failed to see is spontaneous raids are one thing but constant raids made them PART of the habbo community which was PATHETIC.
the ones that piss and moan about the noobs are newfags themselves. All the old fags left, again, i stopped going and I could tell when the others stopped as well.
@yan, it is what ruined /b/ the fact that people tried to define it, hell the "rules of /b/" made many oldfags leave.
4chan is anonymous and the mods really didn't maintain the right community. Rather than ban the "boxxy threads(just using it as an example)" moot thought it was funny to see the trolls get pissed. He allowed 4chan to fall in on it's self.

Re: 4Chan & Viral Marketing
I know of the true dark-heart of the internets... telling you about it would dilute it's awesomeness, so I won't.

because the cancer that is killing /b/ is the old fags that find shit others dont find funny, and as its annon, you can quickly change your story into trolling the whole thing
Re: 4Chan & Viral Marketing
Viral Marketing is easy through the chans. I've done some injects here and there - the problem with 4chan is that there are a lot of people who have encountered Spring as TA Spring and other people stupidly advertised this great "game" rather than pushing a game on the engin- look, short story is, somebody wasted our early opportunities there, and now a lot of the users are resistant.
Because they don't really want Original Content. They want repost and copypasta.
