Re: 3do to 3so converter
What ___ ____ is 3so?
I'd assume it's some odd modeling tool's internal format so no there isn't one. Export the model as OBJ from Upspring (dunno if 3dobuilder can export) and go from there. If your model app fails to make something useful out of the OBJ, then use the broken model as blueprint and remodel from scratch.

I think he means S3O.
And yes, you can convert with UpSpring, although it's not exactly a painless procedure.

Re: 3do to 3so converter
Yeah - Upspring has the possibility to put the applied 3do textures into a texture and create the respective UV-map. I had no real difficulties when I tried out that functionality...

Re: 3do to s3o converter
Is there any other way without using up spring?
Re: 3do to s3o converter
No.
UpSpring is the only way to do a direct conversion of the file formats which preserves UV maps, etc. It works just fine, so long as you're not trying to use stuff with custom GAFs, and custom GAFs can be supported, it's just not fun.
If you want to just have the raw meshes, 3DO Builder can export the quads as DXF, which your modeling application may or may not be able to read successfully.
