Spring 0.80 + Catalyst 9.8 = crash

Post by Patch »

Yesterday i used spring 0.80 with Catalyst 9.7, all things was fine. Now i installed the new Catalyst 9.8, and i always get atioglxx.dll error after launching a game.

I uploaded several infologs, maybe they will be usefull.
PC: Athlon2 240, 2G ram, radeon HD4670, XP SP3 32bit

*** the first infolog contains record from a kernel panic game, i saw the battlefield for 2 seconds, before crash.

The comlete bump-mapped water setting are gray in my springsettings. (it's normal? That settings was also unsuable with Catalyst 9.7) I uploaded my settings. I tryed also in windowed mode, but give the same crash.

You need to enable bumpwater to be able to edit bumpwater settings...

Lol, i used bump water setting for big amount of spring releases, and i completly forget about now, how to set it.

After i set the bump water, 2 things can be happen. Instant crash when i pst the test spring button, or i can see for some seconds the battlefield, before the crash comes.

Without PBO, the game works fine. (expect bump-mapped water settings, that option also cause crash - other water settings works fine)
