Okay I think it is about time to find out more about our fellow "Springers". I've done it! it just rolled off me tonge! That one belongs in the wiki under terms.

As for me, well you've probaly figured somethings out from my posts(though few, contain some insite) Well pictures are also worth a thousand words so heres some to go with.

As most people know I have a very stong intrest in LEGO as stated by involement in the LEGO-Spring mod. Yes i'm the one who created all those redered images in that topic. I so love that program.

I also am working towards a design drafting degree from a university(gotta get into the school first) as noted by my MADD drawing skillz. Heck I can even draw a 3d model on paper and see what the polygons and the textureing would look like without even creating it. I can also crank out technicle drawings, isometric and perspective drawings(note the 4 isometric lego drawings).

Other intrests include 3d modeling using GMAX, 3ds max 8 trial, KeyCreator & SolidWorks for part making. I love the using the Gimp for my image needs, and Terragen for my map craving.

Another major intrest is show in the huge amp & sub pics(this isn't a joke! There is 14K gold plating on that amp). Yes I am a huge audio fanatic. The peice of plexi glass that I am holding was on the front of the box show until I got a new bass cd and promtly blew out 5 screws and cracked it in 2 places. Yeah so I like it loud, clear, and low. By the way the old lady is my example of the best system ever. I so wish she was my Grandma. She holds the record for loudest SPL, and for the cleanest, loudest SQ system. Thats Alma Gates for you.

And the guy... Thats me with my good ol Washington tan(just kidding). It was the best pic I had(She asked me, and I took her to a dance).

Hobbies: LEGO, trains, cars, the great outdoors.

So thats me in a brick. Feel free to post your own commits about yourself.

Your Links dont work.

Anyways, about me.
Im 16 (just), and I live in Tasmania. For those who dont know what Tassie is like, think of England/Scotland, but with more rain. Im still in High School, but im in my last year. Infact, only 25 days left (Im counting).

As im only in High school, I dont get much coice in what I do at school, but im taking extended Maths, Science and Computing as my choices.

Dont do to much around the place for Spring. Just random tools cause im bored. But so far ive made a SMD creator and an Excel FBI editor. Also working on a way to import lots of unit data into a database for easy editing. If you need random programs that dont do much, im your man!

I am into programming a bit, but so far only know Visual Basic and PHP. Can make some decent web sites, just cant make them look any good. (BTW, if you want some help with the site, I will volenteer). Gonna try to teach myself C++ over the holidays. Im alright at 3D modeling, but I only have Maya PLE to work with. Not a great artist or anything, but know how to use it.

Also into the outdoors a bit. Wont say no to a hike or two. When its not raining to hard. I like to read quite a bit, as long as I like the book. The bigger the better!

Anyways, enough about me. What about everyone else?

About me?

Well, im 15 (for about 4 weeks now), and live in Sweden. If you never been to Sweden, it's not that cold as pepole say (Well, can go down to -10 C on winters) and we have one of the higest taxes in the world, and a good social system. Free medical, free education ect...
I go in the last grade of puplic school (9) and after summer im gonna start the secondary school, "gymnasium".

Still haven't thouth out what i want to study thou.

Im not afraid to try new things, and my brother and 2 of he's pals own a sail boat. It's a blast to go out with it and sail out to the many islands of Stockholm's "skärgård".

Anyway, I like gameing. Mostly my only "hobby" right now. I've worked about 1 › years in marcomedia Flash, yet i haven't learn very much. Im a very slow learner. Even so, i made some arty stuff, but nothing worth bragging about. Also, im always broke. It's impossibole to find work in sweden unless your 16, unless you want to hand out 500 newspappers for 3 cent's each. So i don't really own alot of games, witch is why i play spring.

Also, if i try to write without a keyboard, my writing look AWFULL. I mean, it looked like the annoying grammar gem (from word) puked all over the papper.

Thats... about it... i think.

I dropped out of high school around 17~18 years of age, worst choice of my life.

I'm 18, live in California, although my birthday is coming up in the next 3 months...
as far as education/career goes, I'm in my first semester at a pretty good community college and am going to major in something chemistry-related (haven't decided yet).
as far as interests go, currently it boils down to Spring and Chemistry, I'm not giving myself time for much else. Actually, hiking too. I've made a couple of hiking trips with my father in various national parks in California. They've mostly been in the 6-8 day and 60-70 mile range. I do plan on hiking the Pacific Crest Trail all in one go eventually in my life (not a feat I'm looking forward to now, but I will enjoy it I think). Okay, more interests, now that I think of it. I used to be a raving trekkie, and although most of the non-technical interest has faded, I still know a bit too much about ships to be healthy. However, I always have been, and always will be a Battletech nut first and foremost. Although I haven't read the novels, TROs, or handbooks, I devour anything Battletech-related that I can get my hands on, third-rate fan-fics aside (note: I consider fan-fics to be third-rate by default).
I'm also sensitive to the weather. It's mostly a psychological thing too, because I'm pretty tanned and don't burn at all. It is sunny almost the entire year here, and the rain we get is so pathetic you could cry (it's about only 10 inches a year...). However, rather than get used to the sun, I've come to despise it. When summer comes around and the temperature starts going in to the high 80's I hate it here. Perfect weather my ass.
I try to be friendly towards others, I think I should do my part to make the world a bit more pleasant. I'm not stupid enough to expect that from everyone else though.

I also use the term "Springer" for us Spring-players. I don't see anything wrong with it.

[edit] I also loathe AOL [/edit]

[edit] I also ramble at times [/edit]

Well, I suppose I should post...

Names aGorm (not realy but like I'm gonna put down my real name!!) and I'm a 19 year old nutcase. Dryed frog pills stoped working ages ago.

I have a minor addiction to polos (Used to be major, untill It was worked out I had spent £300 on polo's in one year, which at 21 pence a pack is a seriosly large amount of polos...)

I like to draw. It dont mean Im nessacerialy any good, but some people think I'm pretty good at it.

I left school at 17 (after AS's, which for non-english means I did lots of work and then droped out without getting a quilification basicly...)
One month latter I was a web developer, so I can't realy say it was that bad a move...

Remember, don't eat any green chickens, you'll be out of it for days...

I am reasonably certain that I am the youngest Spring player, at least who posts in the forum.

I live in St. Paul, Minnesota, US.

I am also a nerd. I like classical music, and I play the violin. I really like math and science. I could do chain rule challenges for ever. Not really. I enjoy playing almost any board game or card game, Spring (of course), D&D, and Magic (tm). Yu-Gi-Oh is for nerd wannabes.

I tried to do a rebalancing mod sort of like a cross between OTA, XTA, and thunderball, but then I realized that I have no free time.

I have 1337 calculator programming sk111z0r5, and I am still trying to learn C++.

That's about all that I can reveal without the government catching me...

never EVER mention Yu-Gi-Oh
Well to continue the "nerd" thingy. I like to play Magic and D&D as wel, that kinda dried up since our "play-magic-here-store" quit.

Im 17, live in the Netherlands, and in the last year of High-school. In free time (next to playing Spring) I like to draw, model, code (visual basic mostly, made\will make attempts on Java and C++) and play drums.

[Edit]
Yes I'm a good calculator programmer as well.
Lindir The Green, you read Megatokyo?

I have no idea what Megatokyo is.

And, yeah, Yu-Gi-Oh is really big here. I think it is lame but people like spending hundreds of dollars on all of the best cards, and then they win because there is very little strategy involved. Well, there is some strategy in designing a deck, but gameplay requires almost none.

I played YuGiOh for a while... design an ausome deck, pray for the right 10 cards and if you get them you win...

25 years old... been programming since I was 12.

Part of the team that made
TOW ARENA
Shogo Paint
Shogo Switch

I also made maps for several mods. Along with making several mods never to be released to the public. Currently working on Gundam Annihilation and Greased with lovin'.

I am a senior programing student at SELU(http://www.selu.edu). I was the lead programmer and project leader for the FTVS system which is a software system developed for use by the communication department of my university. I also make side money painting commissions when I have the time and have had several internships with a local phone company. I am also the financial officer and photo shop whore for my local chapter of ACM.

When I am not doing that I enjoy playing fighting games, table top war-games and raping people with the RL in halo I & II. I am also very fond of all things Japanese and my asian teachers love the fact that I accidentally learned the habit of bowing to people.... my non-Asian teachers just find it funny because it just fits with my personality which is simply put very odd.

I have shoulder length hair wear a lot of black red or green and am constantly prattling on about gundam or simply mechs in general.

I'm 16, live in the East Midlands, England (no interesting accent, tiny amount of dialect :P). I just started 6th form at the same school I took years 10 and 11.

I love TA Spring (though I'm not that good) and SourceForts(SwiftSpear knows (http://www.sourcefortsmod.com)).

I do very little except eat and game.... Um.... And thats pretty much it!

Oh yeah, I'm taking Computer Studies, CISCO, Government & Politics, Chemistry and General Studies (heh) at AS (and hopefully A2 (well, not CISCO)).

I'm 31 years old and live in Georgia. I'm happily married, but with no children as of yet. I also love building computers and I'm a Total Annihilation fanboy.
