Script problems

ok so i've installed everything correctly, have everything in the proper area/folder. when i click the testspring option. it says it finds no mods, and the game won't open. and in the muliplayer lobby setting up a game, after i hit start (yes once everything is selected (map, mod, etc)) it opens and then in the black screen says cannot find script.txt. so i really need to know what to do for that. any help is appreciated. thank you.

Possibly, you installed Spring, the engine, but no mods, that is the models/textures/statsheets/.. that make a game's assets.

You can try getting mods and maps manually from http://spring.jobjol.nl

Or you can use a complete Engine+Game installer, such as:
- Kernel Panic
- Spring 1944

Ok, so this guy is maybe one of the 5% that actually asks for help after he installs and finds spring.exe does nothing. FFS pleeeeeeease rename spring.exe to spring engine.exe or something, and DONT put the lobby in a separate folder in the program files group. Noone ever checks there.

Thomas: finding out what OS you use would help us alot. Also, use the spring.jobjol.nl link to find mods.

You cant play by running spring.exe. You must start both single and multiplayer games from one of the installed lobbies (springlobby or TASclient)

wow i hate vista.... dude i f-in clicked run as administrator and the game was all like"LOL GUESS WHAT MAN FOUND DEM SCRIPTS!!!!!" and i was all "you.... *stabs vista* ok so i think i got it fixed... just need to run as admin.
