first and second season was great (or was there just 1 season, idk, its been years since it came), i dont watch it anymore though, since they stopped showing it in finland... neither i know are there more seasons & care, since it quite already ended, so it will probably become like jailbreak series, go in jail again, break out of there, go in, break, go, break, go ... endless shit. or like Lost (zomg.), etc. i dont want to see when that happens to this series ;_;

I mean, I stopped watching Jail Break a while ago too actually, but I think Dexter's on a totally different level. Each season has a completely original story, and I actually thought the third was at least as good as the first two.

Well... dunno if it can top Dexter headbutting Doakes. That was pretty freaking awesome.

I got the first season on DVD from a friend and loved it. Haven't seen any other episodes though.

jailbreak is the worst shit on TV, how can you watch it?

srsly, i watched the first season 5 years ago (not sure did i watch it completely), they got out of the jail i think, but then they got back in the jail for some reason lol, and thats the time when i totally stopped watching that shit again...

its been 5 years, and they are still going to get outta of that fucking jail, how stupid is that?

uh... and Lost is same shit, it was even worser than jailbreak, since i stopped watching that shit after 4 episodes :D (it actually felt like shit from the first episode, but i was hopefully it would change into something better )

Heroes was okay TV-series, but the second (or was it third) season became shit, so i dont watch it anymore...
It started to become one of these "we will show it in next episode" so it kinda got lame in time... and the end was lame too, boring... but it had some good episodes though.

House is one good tv-series, though, it kinda ended already, now the crew left and he got new crew, i doubt i will continue watching the new episodes... it already got kinda boring when mr House started to become "a nice guy" which completely made it boring >_>

i did worry about the 3rd season to be repetitive or to start over with everything again.
it didn't and instead was just as awesome as the first 2 seasons :D
but for whatever reason i don't think this will last for more than 7 seasons.

yeah, i couldn't think of anything the 3rd season would come up with, but as it came up with something, i can imagine this happening again and then there is this thing in the last episode which could make some new seasons plot :>

Dexter is based on a series of novels, and from what I've gleaned from wikipedia, each season has taken major elements from one book and expanded on them. There's still lots of material, though TBH I hope some of the weaker book subplots continue to be ignored.
