How can i get ingame quicker?
I am always having to go front or whatever shitty position other ppl dont want so pls tell me how i can make it get in-game quicker! is there any ways to speed it up??
Re: How can i get ingame quicker?
Maybe only allow selecting a spot when all are in.
If its doable and someone would want to make a gadget or an engine patch or whatever.

Re: How can i get ingame quicker?
Buy a faster computer.
Re: How can i get ingame quicker?
Make sure you play on the same map you played before with the same mod. This way you wouldn't have to repath and will get ingame faster. Ofc people with better computers will still be able to get there first...
Re: How can i get ingame quicker?
start and quit spring on that map before lobby game start to prime disk caches and make room in ram. otherwise, get a faster box.
Re: How can i get ingame quicker?
If you're using TAS Client open up your options and go to the 'interface' tab. Make sure "Load units icons and names when joining (slower)" option is unchecked and Apply.
I would've thought there would be a way to set Spring.exe as a priority for some of your PC's hardware but I'm no hardware expert so I'd just go with "Buy a new PC"

buy a new pc so you can pick the back spot in DSD and tech to krog go go
Re: How can i get ingame quicker?
Wait, front is a shitty position?
Re: How can i get ingame quicker?
That doesnt seem right. Spring should load faster if all that is already cached.JAZCASH wrote:If you're using TAS Client open up your options and go to the 'interface' tab. Make sure "Load units icons and names when joining (slower)" option is unchecked and Apply.

front = the best position , any good player would want to be there
guess what this tells us.
Re: How can i get ingame quicker?
Depends on map. If front means fewer mexes, then yes its bad usually.Otherside wrote:noZellSF wrote:Wait, front is a shitty position?

Even better, !setoptions shuffle=box (shuffle commanders within team's box) ftwwww!! Porcer places his start position at the back but he gets switched with you after the countdown.det wrote:JohannesH wrote: Depends on map. If front means fewer mexes, then yes its bad usually.

Re: How can i get ingame quicker?
thats stupid manolo nobody likes doing the same thing all the time and for the ppl who tech all the time they need to learn to play properly anyway
Re: How can i get ingame quicker?
Not a good idea since it means increased risk for "GTFO, I was there first" type fights.Gota wrote:Maybe only allow selecting a spot when all are in.
I'd say get a faster PC. If you only want to get ingame as fast as possible, the fastest single core machine u can find. But if you want to win the game too, get a quad.
