Basic mod?

Is there a basic mod which has just the file structure and the few basic files like cursors, side data, ect... or is it a case of work backwards of of some other mod (in which case any suggestions what mod's easy to work back from)

And I dont want to rip bits out of TA, so dont suggest using one of them!

(And yes I have looked in the wiki... its a mess, so I'm asking here.)

(And No, you can't see what I'm up too!)

That was a long time ago... Actully It's a far more sensible propersition. Tell you what. One screen. Then I will not show more till I have more complete.

hmmm... annoying i need to catch some zzz befor I get up in the morning, and the rest of the week is rather busy... If I get back and I'm not to drunk I'll see if I can get on tommorow.

to be honest if someone hand a mod that was just 1 unit, it's files and the files that made it work, I reckon I could figure it out from there... problem with starting with more would be it would take ages to figure out whats really needed, plus id undaoutable use someones elses stuff whitout realising I'm doing it... (Or maybe it wouldn't... It might be a lack of sleep thing that has made my mind unable to figue it all out. Atleast tiredness dosnt stop me texturing!)

Seems to me someone already put something like that together, can't remember though. Feel free to use SB if you can find it.

We keep talking about it but then get lazy when we realize we'd acctually have to do a lot of work to ensure no TA content. (replace we as I in the sentence as appropriate.)

i seem to recall a tutorial mod made by a dude whos name eludes me at this point. it had really simple tanks in it. if that doesnt work, why not nanoblobs? thats ta free too. or just accept smoths help, eh is a cool guy and does not afraid of anything.

I wanna say that flozi may have posted a basic mod, I am kinda busy so I cannot get around to looking for it but I WANT to say he did.

Try some KDR mod such as Color Wars: 1 unit.

I believe pressureline and Argh both released projects that fit your requirements.

On a side note, I'd love to help if you need icon/cursor work, though of course that will take a backseat to my 1944 work.

Yes Smoth I did.

Mine is a little out of date now though, probably. Something to do with the changes to sounds. Will probably still work.

Note that a free set of cursors is packaged with Spring (unless some cretin took them back out) ( http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.ph ... 2A#p285272 ) so you can just depend on the cursors.sdz package.
