Remixing Explosion Sounds

Post by Maelstrom »

While explosions in Spring LOOK great, they unfortunetley do not SOUND great. My sub-woofer is feeling sad and lonley. So just to keep this little box happy, I want to modify some of the explosion sounds to add in some more bass. Just to see if it sounds good. It might not, it might sound crap, but im just want to have a look

So, just wondering what you people would recommend as a sound-remixing tool. Does not need to be to complex, just needs to be able to change the bass/treble of sounds.

GOLDWAVE!!!!!!!!!!!

That is, i used it to suck the music out of games and transplant them into other games! Muhahahahahahahah!

Also its free, and allows you to do all sorts of neat things to sound effects. Try it out.

This is probably a stupid question, but where are all he XTA sounds stored? De-compressed XTA, and the only sounds are the Raven's sounds. Where have they all gone?
