Hi, welcome to modeling for Spring. Glad to see you, and we're happy to help!

However, if you want to make stuff for games... abandon Sketchup immediately.

Learn Wings3D, instead.

It is free, and is better-suited to low-poly modeling. Sorry, just how it is. You're using the wrong tool for the job, basically.

Please, don't ask why. If you're so new to modeling that you don't know the difference between Wings and Sketchup... trust me, you need to use Wings. I understand Sketchup is easy to use... but Wings isn't terribly hard to use, and is the right tool for the job.

ill use Wings3D, but sketch just to find out how the design would look like not the true in game model.

more like a concept art

It looks boring, and the overall shape is very squarish. From a distance it looks like it may have some good greebly details, but if its really this huge spaceship carrier with all this cool stuff, you zoom in and notice that *all the greebling is just extruded blocks*

The halfpipe in the center is interesting, but its splattered with even more rectangles that don't have any definitive purpose. Try thinking up what each piece will do, then make it look the part. The engines are nicely obvious, but the only spot that even closely resembles bay doors for fighters to fly out is the front. The sides might be nice spots for that but they need more detail, like little doors that open up, etc.. (where is the ion cannon by the way?)

The front is very plain and simple too (aside from the bazillion rectangle blocks)

The bottom is just ~20 identical cylinders scattered around. The centerpiece looks interesting enough though.

But I don't mean to discourage you, just pointing out what could use some work; It looks like it has some good potential. Keep up the good work! :-)

P.S. I find it always helpful to sketch out what I want something to look like first, so I don't end up randomly playing with the model until I find something that looks "cool". But that's just me, they help me finalize what the thing will look like before I even begin.

If Andrew Ryan decided to conquer the landmasses, this is what I'd imagine he would use.
