How to grab mouse input

Post by Dihi »

I am running Spring in windowed mode under Gnome (Ubuntu 9.04). I have heard people mentioning about setting the window to grab mouse input (i.e. mouse is trapped inside window).

How do I do this?

Thanks

I cannot find anything in the springrc file nor anywhere else for that matter relating to grabbing the mouse in spring and locking it to the window.

Do you have any links to any of the references you've found so that I can read up on them.

This is something I'd be interested in finding out about too.

For now I just run in full screen.

One thing you can do in spring (certainly in KDE4 anyway) is maximise the window after you've started spring, which gives you the window (allowing you to AltTab to other windows) and works fine on three of the borders for mouse scrolling.

On occasion when I maximise the window it doesn't scale the game to the full window size, meaning the mouse scroll on edge is still tricky to use, but mostly it does.

If I do find anything more out I'll post here.

Well, that was easier than I thought!

Thanks, Kloot.
