I would say it is a good thing, that springlobby has internal downloading method, if it would work flawlessly. I don't know what could be the problem, but when i try to start a download of a map lets say, it shows up for a short time in the download tab and then disappears. No error msg not anything, and of course no downloaded file.
My second problem is, that in my download tab there are only 4 files shown (seed). If i start a download 1 seed row disappears for the short time mentioned above.
Other suggestion/request: please make a "local menu" (right click menu) to the download list, so i can lets say pause or delete the download/seed. Furthermore i request, that upon any error during download the item should NOT disappear from the list, it should be preserved across restarts, and i will delete it manually if it is impossible to download.
If you need any more information on the problem above, contact me.

Re: Lobby downloader problem
I've been giving some love to the torrent tab the last few days which should fix all the issues you mention and generally improve readability (no more crazy numbers or vanishing torrents). I also put in a simple right-click popup menu that lets you cancel torrents and/or restart torrents depending on status.
Should be in the next update unless someone discovers anything seriously wrong with it. If you join #springlobby I can fix you up with a preliminary build to try out.

Re: Lobby downloader problem
Thank you very much! I can wait out the update, unless you would like me to test it :)
Re: Lobby downloader problem
we absolutely do want you to test:gurrsoft wrote:unless you would like me to test it :)
http://www.springlobby.info/temp/builds ... sl_rc1.zip
in case that crashes on connect or the like please try:
http://www.springlobby.info/temp/builds ... -cmake.zip
whatever works, please tell us which windows and CPU model you got
(if you're on linux just build my rc1 branch)
Re: Lobby downloader problem
Hi! I tried out your build. After several problems and tests i decided, that i would make a video instead, since it would take whole pages if i try to write down everything i observed :).

It works better, than the previous versions, but it still seems pretty erratic to me. Most of the times i can't follow what is happening.
