Ok, so this has always been the case with me; I can't join NAT games straight away like other normal games. I try to join and I usually get this error: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r51/ ... TError.jpg
I can actually join these games but usually only if I keep trying to join them. After a random amount of attempts to join, it will finally let me in and the game runs fine just as well as a normal hosted game.
Whether it be 1 attempt or 50, this is very annoying and sometimes I just give up trying to join...
Since the update to 0.79, more games have become NAT. I don't know why this is, but it means I struggle to join them.
I don't have much "know how" about networks and connections so maybe someone else can help me out here. What exactly is going on, why will it randomly let me in and how can I fix this?

Re: Can't join NAT games
does it happen in springlobby?
Re: Can't join NAT games
I can't seem to get both clients running on the same engine at the same time so I can't tell. But on the old engine, SL still lists the battles and doesn't show any NAT signs so I presume it would work. I'm not using SL anyway for obvious reasons

your obvious reasons are not obvious.JAZCASH wrote:I can't seem to get both clients running on the same engine at the same time so I can't tell. But on the old engine, SL still lists the battles and doesn't show any NAT signs so I presume it would work. I'm not using SL anyway for obvious reasons
you need to tell SL where your spring.exe and unitsync lib are.

It knows where they are, I'm not going through all this again. Not after what it took to get TAS Client working...thesleepless wrote:your obvious reasons are not obvious.JAZCASH wrote:I can't seem to get both clients running on the same engine at the same time so I can't tell.
