I don't want another way I can communicate with my friends as I've been able to do that since as he said Email began. It may be faster, more efficient, and allow more features, great! But it's not exactly any new technology being introduced, it's just bundling it all into one. There are hundreds of separate apps that do most of the stuff mentioned in that demo but they work as standalone apps and are not all built into together. And most of them don't work in the the browser alone.

But really, it's only social tards who Facebook, Twitter and Myspace everything they do in their lives who will use the full features of this thing. If I'm at work and I want to get some files to a specific person, I'm just going to send them the file in the way I know best. I don't really care as long as the file gets through to them.

To be honest, I couldn't even watch the whole video because Google owned Youtube couldn't handle the traffic... Great, so Google's servers are struggling already.

What would impress me is a fresh idea like that OnLive system. Compressing, sending and decompressing video of a game instead of actually playing on the system itself is a genius idea. It means no lag, faster gameplay, the fact you can play on any game you want if the servers are up to it is truly worthy of impressiveness.

Maybe I missed a big thing here because I couldn't watch the whole video but from what I saw, it's just another social tard chatting app which just makes a few things faster and easier. But it still does the same things I can already do. Not impressed.

I was discussing this with revenge yesterday how I can imagine wave would help most community's, and one of these examples being our own.

As the forums are quite hard to understand and navigate sometimes, and the thought of rezzing an old thread is looked down upon.

A lot of people would benefit from the wave here i think :)

Its awesome, its will change text communication, and the possibilities that wave brings are far greater than any instant, or forum base text can ever bring

No jazcash, your own ISP couldn't handle the connection

No, there are a load of pages from a day or two ago about it. Most people couldn't buffer more than 5 minutes or so of it.

I bet they were on AOL, some ISPs are notoriously bad at youtube and other video sites.

For example, my iphone loaded videos using a poor O2 3g signalin a 10th the time my machine on AOL UK ADSL 4Mbps line took.

Jaz, it's on high quality by default. Your ISP obviously can't handle the high quality portion, so just switch it to LQ.

Don't you think I did that? I always watch videos in LQ anyway because my download can't handle HQ, correct. Regardless of quality, it was the overload of traffic that day that was causing the problems. Geez you people need to learn to accept.

It's fine now and I've watched the whole thing straight through with no troubles, still unimpressed...
