Bombers in BA slowing frame rates

Post by Hadrach »

The engine exhaust effect in BA on Core T1 bombers has a huge hit on framerates. In mods such as Maximum TA where this effect doesn't exist, there is no issue with FPS. How do you turn off the effect in BA.

this should go in the BA subforums

but if the effect is done via lups you can disable lups in the f11 lua menu

but really the effects should not lag

OK I'll stick in the right forum, I take it turning off LUPS will disable all effects?

it will disable all LUPS based effects not weapon effects or explosions.

Core Fusion lups would be disabled

Air Engine effects also

I cant remember anything else off the top of my head that uses LUPS in BA

Cheers guys,

That worked. Shame about losing the effects, they were nice, but they took the FPS from 125 to 11.
