Just wanted to add something to the emp-thingie:

Use mobile anti nuke crabs, let them patrole and you should be fine

Sometimes nukes cannot be used due to the map elevations i.e. Dire straits

I use the emp-nuke combo usually in combination with a teammate, because one has to advance to build the emplauncher up front and the other can savely build the nuke in his base. All this takes some good timing and teamplay.
BA without nukes and antis would't be BA :P
