Lua Torrent Downloader for Linux

like the description, becasue there's no spring downloader on linux what shall i do? it is almost impossible to get lua qidgets on linux (except for the ones on jobjol)

Why would you bother torrenting the tiny Lua files?
Lua downloading is already in springlobby.

i dont know... i thougt it was assumed becasue this is the Linux subforum... anyways sorry for not clarifying, is there any OTHER way to get lua files?

There is a website, but it seems you misunderstood my question, so I'll focus on that in this post and rephrase.

Why do you claim that you can't use the lua downloader in SpringLobby on linux?

because there is no down loader at all. there is just no tab in SL that is the "downloads" tab

there is the: chat multiplayer singleplayer options replays, but no downloads tab.

so to summerize i can't use the LUA downloader becasue there is none

he's on 8.04 for which there is no libtorrent-rasterbar package provided --> no downloader

"you guys" would mean yokozar or det and at least according to yokozar it can't be done

I'm talking about the flaw that not having a torrent system removes the entire download tab, even non-torrent downloading.

and wel, i usually just go on SPADS, and use !maplink to it isn't too bad, you get used to it

Spring 0.79 doesn't appear to build on Ubuntu 8.04 (most likey due to boost being too old). Looks like it is time to upgrade or compile boost/rasterbar/spring yourself.
