Countries will perish soon, and global companies will take over.
Everyone wants a job and how wealth is distributed at the moment there is a chance that some companies pay the debt of whole countries and therefore take over.
They will controll everything in this country and will create a fearfull administration. After achieving this in one country, others will follow close behind, takeing over others.
After companies fight over different countries, they will create company own armies (such as in syndicates the browser game).

The weapons depend on the research. Noone will use nukes, "clean" bombs will be available only killing people but no radiation.
Headhunters will be contracted in huge numbers.

In the end only one company will prevail or we'll all be dead and our planet is destroyed.

Someday aliens will hopefully learn of what happend and don't do the same mistake we did and introduce money.
