Next release at some point in the future!

A late World War II game which attempts to balance historical realism with a tactically complex model of battle.

Next release at some point in the future!

Post by Nemo »

Next release (Lyuban, or an as-yet undecided name that starts with M) will either be very soon (a few days) or in about 5 weeks.

Anyone have ideas for straight-forward fun events we could do to coincide with release? Co-op games, some kind of tournament (probably not a straight 1v1 tourney, not really enough players at high enough skill level yet), scenarios, deployment-mode fest...I'm totally open to creative ideas, the wackier the better. Preferably ones that don't involve hours of work on my part, and are fairly non-standard/interesting/are easy to pick up and play.

Note, this is NOT for ideas concerning the game itself. This is something fun we could do with release in the vague vein of a tournament or something similar.

So I've added a game master faction - very rough at the moment, but we could pretty easily run a series of dogfight/tank combat games/other little fun things. Expect significantly more in this vein at some unspecified point in the future.

If one day you can set a game with a map and the units of a true battle, would be epic.

Thinking about Kursk battle, by example. The mother of all the battles
