Singleplayer won't work

When I click it, it just says "Select a game" at the top and back near the bottom. I'm using 4.6. I just downloaded it.

it is usually better to start a singleplayer game on the multiplayer screen anyway, as it is tested more, and has all the possibilities the singleplayer screen has, and possibly more. i never use the singleplayer screen for games against AIs.

Possibly, you have the engine Spring, but lack a "game". Get one of these: http://springrts.com/wiki/Games
