InstantAction Games

Hey, was wondering if any one actually plays the instant action game and what they think of them. It seem to me like browser based games would be pretty limited, but they seem to be doing a lot of planning for future concepts. For instance they have a game similar to tribes
(i believe they also have tribes) called Fallen Empire: Legions which seems to be creating smoe hype before its release. They also have an RTS game in development, and many other multiplayer games that look interesting.

I wonder if this approach to gaming really will take off? Well other than silly flash games, and crappy Korean (ripped off from another game they has done successfully) games.

For similar games, see also Quantum, Dyson, and some dead project that looked like an Opensource implementation of Galcon. Dyson is ultra-sexy but single-player.

Quantum is open-sourced and multiplayer.

just got my ass handed to me in 3 games of legions. if you like tribes youll probably love it. its made by some members of the tribes team, supposedly. any how its fun but i suck hard. supposedly has a steep learning curve.
