My friend loves using the mines. I know that they require a small amt of energy to cloak, but even so, I can see them on radar. It would be like a big blue dot in my base (if he was blue) that I can see, but none of the units would fire at it. Soon as I walk a unit to that area, it explodes (as it should).
So I guess what I'm trying to get at is this: If I can see it on the radar, why aren't my units (and structures) not attacking it? If this really isn't a problem, then should the mines be stealth as well? It would be better that way so it doesn't look like I have a bunch of units in my base.
Its just misleading that I can see it on my radar, and none of my units can destroy it unless I do a spray and pray in my base and risk blowing up other things.
Problem with mines

when you shoot them, the explotion is way smaller than when its detonated by its trigger.
the shock mine does destroy mined fields quite fine, its cool, it explodes and then several other explotions follow, and you can imagine your enemy's face looking its mine field dissapear :D
and.. im not completely sure, but seems the first mine in the list does that too now.

Yes, I also notice that the enemy has to practically be on top of the mine for it to auto explode. I remember when I layed a few mines, the enemy build a structure RIGHT next to it and it didn't explode. So I did a force attack right next to it and the structure went up in pieces. Its just weird how they work.
