Error initializing unit sync

Post by Casval »

I tried to install PURE onto my edition of Spring, but when I did I got the error as listed in my subject.

I run Vista, and I had no issues with Vista prior to his.

Obviously, I'd prefer that P.U.R.E. didn't break Spring installs.

This error you're talking about- does it occur when you start the game up in singleplayer, or just when you try to go online? When does this crash happen, basically?

Did you install P.U.R.E. to your current Spring directory, or to P.U.R.E.'s default directory?

If you're playing online, what client are you using?

And have you tried resetting your Registry settings for the game, or deleting your springsettings.cfg file?

The error kicks in as soon as I join a server.

I used the barebones installer and put it to my current directory.

And yes, I already reset my registry. But I didn't delete the cfg file.

The barebones should not be causing any bugs like that.

Have you reinstalled Spring 0.7.8.2b?

Reinstall Spring 0.7.8.2. Run SpringSettings.exe.
