Spring crashes when loading/starting game

From what I can see, the graphics drivers is the problem, so I updated them to the latest ones, but the problem stays (the log is from the latest drivers).

I tried searching the forum for solutions but all I found was the "update your graphics drivers", which I did, and which didn't help.

Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Edit: The Error I get on crash is an "Unhandled Exception", if that's of any help.

you could also try some older drivers, some work, some dont...
another try would be to update your directX and if possible with using a non-ati graphics card...

Seems it was more of a map-problem, I tried some other maps and they worked flawlessly..

try 8.7 drivers... other than that, I have the impression that ATI has forgotten that it made chips which were called something else than 4xxx.
