Hi,
maybe we could advertise Spring or on of its games as a benchmarktool?
Is it possible to record the fps through lua and write to a file, creating average minimal and maximal fps?
So, you could create a parser and maek nice graphs?
My idea would be to run a standard replay of a certain game, but I think camera control is problem. So the camera would need to be fixed to a certain point. Is that possible, too?

Re: [Request]Benchmarktool
Well as Spring decreases the game speed when you lack CPU power you could calculate everything via the passed "ingame time"...
Camera work might be possible with LUA (don't know the latest commands you have here now) but still imo a benchmark has to look good and by todays means that's going to be hard with Spring. Well maybe with the "experimental" state of normal mapping in Spring you might get at least a somewhat decent result in the eyes of the "average" player...
