Hello,
It´s me again ^^
I wanted to show a little bit that i made just 4 fun,
a fun-trailer for my upcoming mod Techwars(old name LLTA)
It is a mod about advance playing. New techlevels, New Units/Buildings ,
New Effects, New Textures, New Gamemodes.
It is not a just add 1000 units and no balanace Mod.
I added units that i think they were missing like a tactical emp sniper bot,
or a anti Ship kbot.
Atm i´m still balancing and fixing some missing corpses.
Krogoth and others are Helping me with cob´s that a corrupted since new spring release, more help is welcome.
Most of the Models are from TA mods or UnitUnivers and are not Made by me. So credits will come Later to everyone with the first release.
It is sad that so much nice models are not used in spring so far, now they will!
I´m searching for more Testers, plz PM me if you are an experienced Player and want to try something new.
The mod was based on a Old CA version but is very different now.

TA Spring is how I found spring remove ta spring and meh... even less will find Srping

The starwarsy text scrolling toward far and top while the camera pans downard gives a weird feeling. Anyway, TA intro and ending videos really do not belong here.
I prefer video where the healthbars are disabled. But then there are many videos where much more of the GUI is shown.
Too many special transitition effect makes it look too much like the movie of one who just got his new camera editing software. Do you see the image being folded in a box for ten seconds during each scene change in TV or cinema?
Starwarsy text effect does not always make it more awesome, especially when the text mysteriously does not spawn at the edge but above.
You wrote "New Unit", but all I saw was Low poly cavedog units, and TA units stolen from Tro, are there even any unit that are your own work in that mod?
Otherwise I quite like the angle of view and action scenes chosen. Even if ususally zoomed out battle don't render well in youtube compressed video, in yours it rendered nicely. The map edge, markers and other ugly thing are not shown unlike too many of youtube's spring vids, the sequence are long enough so we see what's going on but varied so we don't get bored, there are both close up and larger view, so overall a nice vid, if it wasn't for the text and inclusion of Cavedog movies.

And yes it is true when you say i stole units, but most of the creaters i asked or tryed to ask, some not maybe dunno. But i think it doesnt will kick someone really in the ass, i created this just for fun, and learning modding. And this project got really big now.
In the next mod, afther Techwars, i will create my own models but not alone. It makes depressiv to make a mod alone, i had really some big help from others like Krogoth86 (love you bro xD), but it still eats a lot of time.

what worries me with this mod (from playing earlier llta revisions)
is exponential growth and tiers obsoleting each other.
I dont expect every mod to use the CA model of flat tech tree balance( I like tech trees to :]). But going up one tech Level and making the units below that level redundant because of the utter superiority of higher tech would be fail gate. Look at successful RTS's with unit tiers (WC3/SC) thats the best way to go around it (needing lower tier units to support your higher tier units) but maybe you already have this so i dont need to tell you this

to much OTA videos (remove them) rising starwars text was uneccesary.
And switch camera angles more couldnt see much most of the time

I did not find that the second trailed showed enough game play and elements for a viewer to get psyched about the mod.
Tho I am excited to see how your teching by warfare will play :p
