I've played it.
But got rid of it because the game gets boring after some time;
about 15 weapons isnt incredibly fun, is it?

You have obviously never played a good Worms game with friends, you don't even need to use 15 weapons to have fun.

Not sure if this can fully replicate the awesomeness of Worms, but if it's entirely free it's certainly a very good start.

If you like playing with enemies, playing with friends is a nice way to get new ones.

There's also Wormux, which has more features but less polish than Hedgewars.

Yeah it's hard to replicate the awesomeness of games with open source remakes. If only it were possible.
