I like it too - but I think it needs a bit more of a 'heel' piece on the foot, and perhaps slightly larger feet, it just feels a little off-balance at the moment, like it's about to topple backwards.

If you make the bullet belt circular, I think a simple rotate would do the trick.

It is circular for just that reason, but, if those turrets tilt up or down the belt will be trying to fit into the holes at an angle. So I might just have to hope no one notices :p

I think you can build an intermediate espherical piece that will help in the rotation of the entire superior part like this.The missile launcher model is so cool to change :wink:

It might need that anyway to turn 360 degrees around the vertical axis.

I love the attention to detail on the leg joints, btw. This would make a nice jethro replacement.

It'd have to be at least GPL compat to be CA anyway, Swift.

You high standards make me sad :-)

What I meant was "saying that a model like that could be a lowly unit like the Jethro makes me think of the type of model that would be suitable for, say, a T3 mech, and thus, looking at CA's herd of models and my own modeling skills, I experience a crushing feeling of inferiority :p."

I intended it to replace the Storm in CA originally, if you look in CA's model upload section in the wiki you will notice I also added an earlier version of the model. hmm, having the pitch movement controlled at the hip seems like the best way to go at the moment. But I'd have loved to see the shield parts change position as it aimed, sort of like waggling eyebrows :) What is PD btw? (I've not been around for a few months)

Public Domain. It means that your model is free content that anyone may use, for any purpose. It also happens to be what all my models are licenseddoes PD count as licensed? under. :P

Note: Do not go out of your way to read the tiny text. It's really unimportant, and I don't want/need others yelling at me for it. :-)

Public Domain is not a license, MidKnight. It's a lack thereof, which is why it's great for sharing stuff :-)

That catapult mech is sweet, no doubts about it.

Its very well made.

My only 2 gripes are that the chain of rockets/bullets could be optimized better IMO perhaps with rectangles instead of cylinders, and that it needs something for a swivel at the turret, unless it was planned into the design to be a fixed turret with no swivels and only elevation adjustments.

yur model is great design :
but i can found bad taste details :
amo band are for autogun not for tiny little rocket/missile box ;
this box need to be related with the mass of the model :
same for the driver windows;
i can sugest too(due to the poly count )to add sensors as mdern helico/tank
