AI bugs
I've just packaged Spring for Fedora, and I already have a nice detailed bug report about the AIs, with patch attached. I've directed the reporter to Spring's Mantis installation, but since the bugs involve buffer overflows, he set the bug as private (security). It's bug 1361, any admin here could put me in copy of this bug ? Please PM me and I'll give you my email address.
Re: AI bugs
i do not know what you mean with "any admin here could put me in copy of this bug ?". that is something redhat related, not spring, right?
You filed this bug on the redhat bugtracker aswell, and you hope someone here is admin there and may help you?
..anyway:
all the issues you filed in mantis have already been fixed in spring master, and should therefore not occure in the next release of spring, with exception of KAI crashing, as it is deprecated and should not be included in a release package of spring.
you may further test AIs on the master branch, compiling spring yourself.
thanks for the reporting!

Re: AI bugs
KAI is deprecated? Or is it KAIK?
Gonna remove it from the tarball then.

Re: AI bugs
KAI is Krogothes original AI, now deprecated.
Shortly after taking over development, Kloot named his AI KAIK (he is still developping it). guess it means:
Krogoth AI Kloot
now :D

Re: AI bugs
Actually, the bug was first filled on the Fedora bugtracker. As I'm the packager, it was assigned to me. I redirected the reporter to Spring's bugtracker, where he opened the bug (as "private"). Now I'd like to be in copy of this bug in Spring's bugtracker, but I can't add myself since it's private.hoijui wrote:i do not know what you mean with "any admin here could put me in copy of this bug ?". that is something redhat related, not spring, right?
Did I make myself clearer ? Maybe not...

Great !! Thanks !all the issues you filed in mantis have already been fixed in spring master, and should therefore not occur in the next release of spring,
Yes, please. As a packager, I merely add what's in the spring tarball... :)Auswaschbar wrote:KAI is deprecated? Gonna remove it from the tarball then.
Re: AI bugs
Auswaschbar already removed KAI now.

if you can not see this, then you have the content of it in your PM.
though.. it does not really matter i guess, as it is solved.
