This is a big simplification of the "commanded team games" post:
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=18185&p=340512#p340512
A tutor player is like an spectator that only sees and hears what the player he is tutoring can see and hear, not like spectators that see and hear everything, and that can draw on the map as his tutored player does (the drawings cannot be seen by the members of enemy alliances). The tutor would be there to help out less experienced players, showing noobs the basics, improving the tactics of average players. Opposed to the commander role, there could be several tutors per alliance, maybe each one helping a different player. If tutoring a player in a team game, it would make sense for the tutor to be able to privately speak to the player he is tutoring, so he doesn't disturb the other players. In the lobby, spectators cannot freely choose to become tutors but a member of an alliance must request the spectator to become his tutor (like when choosing to ring somebody), then the spectator may accept or not the request.
Good tutors will surely be appreciated and become popular, so people will like to have them as commander in commanded team games.

Re: Tutored games
Get real, CA is unpopular. It's a good mod, agreed, but it's no BA.
Re: Tutored games
And you think that BA would add a feature like that???

Re: Tutored games
As I said in the "commanded team games" post, I mainly played BA and there is no teamspec option there . . . but since it is already done for CA, it might be easy to port it to BA. That would be a great feature to add :)
