Crash after entering single-player or Online game

I'm running the game on Kubuntu and just downloaded the game yesterday,
I played all yesterday without problem... so I know I can run the game without a problem.

Today.. when i log in...

I host or try to join a game and after everything has loaded and the game is about to start... one of two things happen

-I get logged off of Kubuntu
-I get sent back to the Spring Lobby window... and I can't move my mouse.
